Many of us have been prepping for spring and summer’s warm weather to get our beach bods right. However, for some, fitness and healthy living isn’t just a fair weather type of thing. This week, we were able to speak with a serious bad-ass triathlete, Shelley Solomon who’s training for the Ironman challenge. We asked her ‘what’s good about her preparation for the huge event.’ Here’s what she had to say:
Good question. Still trying to figure that out. Sleep deprivation, perpetual hunger, and staying fully stocked on ice #notsogood. Having a core group of teammates to support me, not feeling guilty about shake shack after swim, and anticipated bragging rights when I rock my finisher’s medal (and possible tat). #awesome.
