Earth Day is a wonderful reminder to take personal responsibility for this wonderful home we get to live on for a while. Whether it’s participating in events in your community, eating less meat, planting some flowers or switching out your products for more sustainable ones, we can all choose to participate in making our global home a little less stressed.

—Rachel Murray is Chief Cook & Bottle Washer at Kind Eye, a website that helps the conscious consumer quickly find safe personal care products made by companies who care.

Earth day is a great reminder to get out and get involved in our communities to protect our natural resources and have a voice in how its done.

—Melissa Dimas is an International Affairs Program Manager for US EPA. She works with countries around the world to promote public participation and conflict resolution in environmental decision making.
